About Peace of Mindfulness

At Peace of Mindfulness, my mission is simple: to help people of all ages and backgrounds develop mindfulness skills that bring calm, clarity, and resilience into their everyday lives. I believe that everyone deserves the tools to navigate life with intention and compassion.

My Story

We all deserve peace

I believe that mindfulness is a skill everyone can develop to navigate life’s challenges with calm, clarity, and resilience — whether in work, school, relationships, or personal wellbeing. My mission is to provide practical, accessible mindfulness tools that help people of all ages create their own “toolkit for life.”

I have extensive experience in education, including delivering mindfulness sessions at Wolverhampton Grammar School, where I was recognised for my dedication to students’ wellbeing and support, and my ability to build strong, trusting relationships across the school community.

“Pav joined the school in September 2003 and was a shining light in both the business and ICT departments. Pav is a real people person and students knew that if they had a problem, she would always be there to lend a hand and, sometimes more importantly, lend an ear when students just needed someone to listen. Pav is one of the leaders of the mindfulness in schools programme, which has helped so many students deal with anxiety or stress. She is now a leading expert in the practice. Her warmth, charisma, and infectious smile is sorely missed by students and staff alike at WGS.”
Head of Computing, Wolverhampton Grammar School

I now work with schools, organisations, and individuals, designing and delivering mindfulness programmes that are tailored to the needs of each setting. This includes working with a range of stakeholders — from senior leaders and staff teams to students and individuals — ensuring that sessions are practical, relevant, and aligned with the wider goals of the organisation or community.

I also deliver the Mindfulness-Based Living course from the Mindfulness Association, supporting participants to manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions, while developing skills that can be applied both personally and professionally.

Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles, including Head of Year at Manchester High School for Girls, where I combined pastoral care with management responsibilities. This experience gave me a strong understanding of how to support both individuals and teams, while balancing wellbeing with the demands and expectations of busy environments.

Mindfulness is not just something I teach — it is something I practise daily. Having experienced periods of stress and anxiety myself, I understand the pressures that come with balancing work, family, and life’s challenges. These experiences are what first led me to mindfulness, and they continue to shape the way I work: keeping my approach practical, compassionate, and grounded in real life.

Through all my work, my aim is to combine professionalism, empathy, and practical strategies, helping people build resilience, improve focus, and navigate challenges with greater calm and clarity.
