Broadmeadow School
"Staff enjoyed Mindfulness workshops led by Pav as part of a well- being day. The sessions were relaxed and enjoyable, everyone was put at their ease and engaged as much or as little as they felt comfortable with. As a result some staff have started regular well being groups and others are pursuing mindfulness activities in their own time. It was fabulous to have a day where everyone was encouraged to think about looking after themselves- in our small school we are all so focused on supporting children, families and each other that we sometimes forget about ourselves. Many of us are now ‘dropping our attention into our feet’ as a result- thanks Pav"

"Mindfulness has made me feel less stressed, I know how to cope with anxious feelings and how to stay calm and relaxed."

"I found the Mindfulness Based Living Course I undertook very beneficial. We worked through different techniques and strategies to help cope with the stresses and strains we all come across in everyday life. Relaxation and breathing techniques, noting when there is a problem but not dwelling on that problem, and self-reassurance.
These coping skills have stayed with me, and I use them whenever the need arises. This has helped me to manage the day-to-day challenges that occur and improved my wellbeing.
Pav works with you to master these Mindfulness techniques in a very structured and supportive way and is a great ambassador for this methodology."

"A Levels feel really intense at times, especially before assessments and exams so I wanted to try Mindfulness to see if it would help me with exam stress mainly- now I use it all the time and I wouldn’t have known how to practice it without Mrs Mahey."

"I have found the mindfulness course to be very useful for our Year 11 students who are revising and preparing for their Year 11 exams.Pav has been a wonderfully calming influence, and the students who have chosen to attend have appreciated the tips that can be put into place at a moment's notice."

Caroline (MBLC course client)
Pav’s mindfulness course has been a transformative experience for me, introducing techniques like the body scan that have significantly helped manage my pain. During a particularly hectic week, an old back problem resurfaced, but by focusing on different parts of my body as Pav taught, I found relief from the acute pain. Another eye-opener was a practice where we reflected on kindness from others, which made me realise how much I had focused on minor unkind acts rather than the abundance of kindness in my life. Pav’s course extends beyond just a few relaxing hours; she provides positive messages, reminders, and weekly practices that have led to positive changes in all areas of my life. Her caring guidance made me feel at ease, even in a room full of strangers, and she expertly adapts the practices to suit individual needs. I highly recommend Pav’s course to anyone seeking mindfulness and personal growth.
